Areas of Focus
Jessica Hernandez leads EWG’s energy and climate policy priorities and assists the Government Affairs team with legislative analysis and outreach on PFAS, among other issues. Before joining EWG, she worked in the Senate as the lead energy and environmental advisor to Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.). Hernandez also previously worked in the House of Representatives for Rep. Albio Sires (D-N.J.) as a legislative assistant. She holds bachelor’s degrees in both economics and political science from Quinnipiac University.
