Workplace Giving

What is Workplace Giving?

Many employers offer their employees an easy way to give to charities through their regular payroll deduction. This is workplace giving.

The United Way is the best known organization in workplace giving, however there are many other nonprofit federations who give a charitable choice at work, including EarthShare, Community Health Charities, America’s Charities, Global Impact, and the Environmental Fund for Arizona.

When employers encourage employees to give to the charities of their choice, whether it be health & human services, animal welfare, health & research, the arts, international relief, or the environment, everybody wins. True philanthropy is giving from the heart.

EFAZ at Work

The Environmental Fund for Arizona currently participates in 25 workplace giving campaigns across Arizona. Because of generous employee donations, we have raised over $1 million dollars for Arizona’s environment since 2001!

We’re confident that many more Arizona workplaces would welcome additional charitable choices if they knew choices existed. They do! Our goal is to add a ‘green’ choice with EFAZ in 100 workplace giving campaigns across Arizona.
Will you be one of them?

How to Get Started
Research: Find out what kind of campaign, if any, is offered at your workplace. How many charities are included? How much does the campaign raise? Is there good employee participation? Who coordinates the campaign? Find out who the key decision-makers are at your workplace regarding the campaign.

Contact Us: Email us or give us a call about your interest in starting an EFAZ campaign. We will work with you to schedule a presentation with the key decision-makers. Email: info@environmentalfundaz.org

Follow Up: After the meeting, follow up with key personnel on next steps. We will work with you to plan and execute a successful and fun campaign!
