Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility can be defined as: “A company’s sense of responsibility toward the community and environment (both ecological and social), in which it operates. Companies express this citizenship through their waste and pollution reduction processes, by contributing to educational and social programs, and by earning adequate returns on the employed resources.”

Triple Bottom Line
Another term used to describe CSR is the Triple Bottom Line: People, Planet, Profit. It’s a way to incorporate three dimensions of an organization’s performance: social, environmental, and financial.

How EFAZ Can Help Enhance Your CSR Objectives
As a diverse nonprofit alliance of Arizona’s leading environmental and conservation organizations, EFAZ is able to bring this collective resource to you. By partnering with EFAZ, either through a workplace giving campaign, employee volunteering, a corporate gift, or event sponsorship, you are leveraging your support in a huge way – by supporting the wide diversity of environmental causes: wildlife, land, air & water, recycling, renewable energy, environmental education, and more. Here is more of what EFAZ’s added value brings you

Employees benefit by having different charitable choices  in their workplace giving campaigns, and they appreciate employers who offer this choice. Employees also enjoy learning about different charities and how they can learn and get involved through volunteering.

The community benefits by partnering with employers who care about their community, the quality of life, and making it a better place. The collective power and passion of individuals and organizations truly makes a difference and lasting impact.

Investors benefit by reduced costs through recycling and energy conservation and by operating in more sustainable ways. Moreover, companies greatly improve their brand by being known as a community partner to the environment, and by attracting new, young talent that make this a priority.
